The sounds can be easily and quickly changed by using the numbered keypad and a large digital display shows your current selection. All the sounds can be played across the entire length of the keyboard.
Backing musicians from all over the world! By selecting the Style mode, you have access to 114 professional backings. These provide drums, bass and rhythmic accompaniment based on the notes you play with your left-hand. A huge range of musical types are included including Pop & Rock, Dance, R&B and Country. Styles are a great way to learn about how different types of music are created and develop skills needed for playing with other musicians in a band.
You can even set the band's speed (tempo) by hitting the Tap Tempo button at the speed you want to play! Simple and easy to use controls.There are 30 songs stored in the PSR-F50 to provide inspiration in a variety of music types including Orchestra, Pianist and Traditional. You can download music scores for the pre-set songs (excluding the demo song) by registering your keyboard on the Yamaha Online Member Product Registration website. The Duo feature splits the keyboard into two identical parts which is great when learning to play. Transpose allows you to play in any key which is ideal for performing with other instruments or when singing.
A built-in metronome gives you an adjustable ticking to keep you in time. The keyboard has a built-in stereo amplifier and speaker system. You can also plug in a standard pair of headphones (not included) so you can play without disturbing others or connect the keyboard to a suitable HiFi/amplifier & speaker system for a bigger sound or public performance. The PSR-F50 has been designed to be extremely easy to use.Voices, styles and songs can all be selected using the numbered keypad and LED display. Advanced features are available by using the Function menu button. The keyboard can operate on AC mains by using the supplied adaptor or by using 6 x AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries (not supplied). An Auto Power Off function automatically turns off the keyboard when not used for a certain period.
